The King of Bollywood appeared, on screen after a gap of four years, makes a stunning comeback as Pathaan hits Indian theaters on Wednesday, January 25, in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The film got off to a great start at the domestic box office, with a report stating that the film grossed over Rs 50 crore on its first day of release. The report added that the action film, which also starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, and directed by Siddharth Anand, broke records in non-holidays as 2017's Bahubali - The Conclusion, directed by SS Rajmouli, was the biggest opening film before Pathaan.
